I did not know that birthday gal Ann Blyth was a spokesperson for Hostess in the seventies. She sure dresses up fancy to serve Ding Dongs to her kids. Happy Birthday Ms. Blyth!— Noir and Chick Flicks

The Party’s Over (1965)
This is awful, but I do remember the commercials because there was a another take on it where you see the woman eat the ding dong, then she turns and she has a butt as big as a bus.
ReplyDeletePoor Ann.
She did look gorgeous though. It's quite a feat to appear glamorous while saying "Ding-Dong" over and over.
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe that she appeared in that commercial for Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Pies.
ReplyDeleteI do wonder how this came to be. Were a bunch of ad guys sitting around a table saying--of course! You must hire Ann Blyth!
ReplyDeleteha ha ha
ReplyDeleteI've heard of movie stars taking on jobs just for the money, but this is ridiculous!
