ReplyDeleteI usually download these adapted movies [they are in the public domain], and listen to them whenever I'm in the car.
I think I have All About Eve [the Bette Davis radio version and the Tallulah Bankhead one] just about memorized. They are so good you just have to rewind them. :)
I didn't know you could download these Java. That helps! Maybe I will be able to carve out some time to listen. I think the radio version of All About Eve sounds amazing. I'm sure I have the movie memorized already! Thanks for posting all the great stuff.

For instance, Tallulah's 11/16/1952 Theater Guild Radio version of All About Eve is here, 6th from the bottom.
Click the link to the right of it marked "13.8MB."
A window will pop up asking if you would like to open or save This file: Tgoa_52-11-16_ep127-All_About_Eve.mp3
Select "Save" and Click "ok."
Another window pops up asking you to select a folder to save it. Do so and click "save."
Bob's your uncle. :)
