A fascinating review of The Light in the Piazza (1962)— Who Can Turn the World Off With Her Smile

  1. Thank you very kindly for the shout-out! The Buster Keaton shots are indeed weird, but there's no denying Johanssen makes a very dishy Marlene. They're overall unique choices for a vintage film photoshoot, you have to hand her that!

  2. Laura--I think SJ has the right body and face for this kind of a shoot--a classic figure you could say. She does make a great Marlene. The Keaton shots blew me away though. What a great idea to gender bend a bit. I'm so glad they didn't just do Marilyn Monroe and all the other usual names.

I'm new to your blog and I've been loving it. Basically, you drew me in with the name and banner and delivered on what they promised! I'm looking forward to seeing what else you come up with.
