I loved this episode about Warren William, my favorite Pre-Code cad, and one of his best films The Mind Reader (1933).

Great concept: rather than focusing on a single genre, in this episode hosts Brian and Elric make recommendations from a variety of popular classic Italian film types, including Giallos, Westerns, and Poliziotteschi. I watched a few of the titles they suggested and loved every one of them.

This is a phenomenal conversation with the one-of-a-kind Bruce Dern. Bless his great memory. He has so many stories about Old Hollywood stars; the best by far was his memories of Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, and Olivia deHaviland on the set of Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964). He really dishes.
