  1. Yes, I think that's it exactly. Some things, like love and seduction, are better in the imagination of the viewer.

  2. It's one of the reasons it's sad that silents were replaced by talkies, rather than co-existing. I mean, I know that would never have happened, but a lot of beautiful nuances were lost with that form.
